Captain/ Server
The Role
At Club HUE,The captain is responsible for executing and maintaining the tone and style of the Club’s experience for every guest. The Captain will introduce the concept of the restaurant and reconfirm all allergies, food restrictions and other guest requests. The captain is the relay between the kitchen and the captain assistant to make sure the food is well coordinated with the kitchen and that glassware and marks are placed according to the menu. During the dinner, the Captain will interact with the guest to make sure any questions about food, wine, service, and concept are answered.
Requirements
Must have a hospitable personality and experience in the luxury hospitality business
Able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail; ability to multitask
Must have good supervisory skills
Must have good communication and ability to promote sales
Must be skilled in time management. Must have teaching and motivational skills
Must have strong Wine and food knowledge
Korean language skills are a plus
Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification
California Food Handler Certificate
Responsibilities
Command an expert knowledge of the full menu — ingredients, preparation, and the chef's style and articulate it with polish and confidence to every guest
Possess a deep and fluent knowledge of our wine, spirits, and cocktail program — guiding guests through pairings and selections with authority and enthusiasm
Deliver seamless, anticipatory service that reads the room, exceeds expectations, and makes every member feel genuinely valued
Greet, guide, and farewell every guest with warmth and grace — building the kind of rapport that earns lasting loyalty
Set and maintain your station and side station to the highest house specifications before, during, and after every shift
Apply refined service techniques consistently — pacing courses, coordinating with the kitchen, and ensuring every detail is executed with intention
Communicate proactively with the kitchen and management on menu changes, 86'd items, wait times, and special guest needs
Accurately input all orders into the POS, present a flawless final bill, and complete all shift closing procedures
Keep all front and back of house areas immaculate and guest-ready throughout the entirety of your shift
Represent the Club with impeccable grooming, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to luxury hospitality in every shift
